Terms of Use

Version 1.0 · 21 October 2026

These terms apply when you use resume.gs. By using the site, you agree to them.

Who we are

resume.gs is run by GOEASE, a sole trader business in Ireland (“we”, “us”).

  • Email: support@resume.gs
  • Based in: Co. Meath, Ireland

The service

resume.gs is a free tool for building a CV. You answer questions in a chat and edit the result in the editor. There are no accounts and no charges. There is no AI in the CV builder at the moment. Your CV is saved only in your own browser. We don’t receive or keep a copy, so please download or export your CV to keep it safe. If you clear your browser data or change device, your draft will be lost and we can’t recover it.

We provide the service “as is” and “as available”. We may change, pause or stop it, or any feature, at any time.

Your content

  • You own your content. You keep all rights, including intellectual property, in what you write. Because your CV stays on your device, you give us no licence to use it.
  • You are responsible for it. Make sure your CV is accurate and truthful, and that you have the right to use anything you include, such as photos, logos or other people’s details (for example referees).
  • Our suggestions, examples and templates are general guidance only. Check everything before you send your CV.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use the site for anything unlawful, fraudulent or misleading, including CVs in another person’s name or with false qualifications;
  • try to break, overload or get unauthorised access to the site or its server;
  • use bots or scrapers to copy or overload the site;
  • copy, resell or reuse the site’s design or code, except as allowed below.

We may block access to anyone who breaks these rules.

No guarantee of results

We can’t promise that using resume.gs will get you an interview, a job or any other result. Hiring decisions are made by employers.

Our design and code

The site’s design, templates, text, graphics and software belong to us or our licensors and are protected by law. You may use them to create, download and print your own CV, including for job applications. You may not otherwise copy, adapt or distribute them.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Irish law, or any liability that cannot legally be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Subject to that, and as far as the law allows:

  • we are not liable for loss of data stored in your browser, loss of opportunity, or indirect loss;
  • we are not liable for any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, or that was caused by your own content or use;
  • because the service is free, our total liability to you is limited to €100.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version will be posted here with its date, and it applies from then on.

Law and courts

These terms are governed by the law of Ireland. The Irish courts have jurisdiction, but if you live elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of your local consumer law and may bring a claim in your local courts.
